Who I Am?
Hey, I’m Alex Carter - photographer, storyteller, and vintage soul based in Los Angeles. I grew up with a shoebox full of Polaroids and a love for old photo albums. My work is rooted in emotion, texture, and the tiny details that make a moment timeless.
I specialize in lifestyle, portrait, and destination photography, blending the richness of analog film with a modern eye for composition and color. Whether I’m documenting a backyard wedding or shooting for a brand with heart, my goal is simple: make it feel like a memory - not a photoshoot.
I believe in slow storytelling — taking time to connect, observe, and shoot with intention. I love natural light, real emotion, and environments that breathe. Most of my sessions feel more like a hangout than a pose-fest. I shoot a mix of digital and 35mm film, because texture matters, and so does patience.
